Thai & Fly ~ Heal with Loving touch
October 27th, 6:00 – 8:30pm
A donation-based therapeutic experience in solidarity for the Napa and Sonoma communities
Human touch and soulful connection is a profound medicine greatly needed in times of crisis. Thai massage and therapeutic AcroYoga flying brings us closer together finding relief from tension in our bodies and the sense that we are not alone… we can hold each other, lift and rise together!
In a way to show solidarity for the people affected by the fires in Napa and Sonoma counties, I am offering this workshop by donation. If you think this practie can support your healing in these difficult times please join us. Pay if you can and as much as you can.
This workshop will guide you to ease tension in your body, regain your sense of safety and trust through guided thai massage and flying therapeutics with a partner. Learn simple and effective ways to produce profound healing with acupressure, passive yoga stretches, muscle compression, and joint mobilization. Learn how to use acrobatic bone stacking techniques and gravity to its full advantage to gently pour or hold weight with hands and feet and efficiently use your energy to sustain a longer and easier healing experience for both partners. Explore non-verbal communication and a deep connection as you tap into the flow of giving and receiving healing energy. Expect to leave the workshop feeling refreshed and reenergized!

Traditional Thai Massage is one of the oldest forms of massage. It incorporates assisted stretching techniques, similar to some yoga postures, rhythmic swaying and pressure along energy lines.
The techniques used in Thai Massage consist of applying pressure with hands, thumbs, elbows and knees along energy lines and assisted stretching of mayor muscle groups. The movements are rhythmic, and the pressure is slow and sustained, allowing the body to open, surrender and invite a new rush of energy.
The duration of a Thai massage session is approximately one and a half to two hours. It is performed with the patient wearing comfortable clothes preferably cotton, lying on a mat or futon on the floor.
