About Me

Science, intuition, and spirituality — in service of wellbeing.

Hi, I’m Tamara Vodovoz.
I was born in the USA, and moved to Colombia at an early age where I developed a deep sensitivity toward nature and life in all its forms. I studied Veterinary Medicine in Bogotá, worked in wildlife conservation in the Colombian jungle, and later completed my postdoctoral studies at the University of California, Davis.

For years, I trained in science disciplines like endocrinology, pathology, and epidemiology. But over time, my search for well-being — personal and collective — would come back to the simple wisdom that resides in the body and the felt sense of being alive.

Yoga has been my path of self-discovery and awareness cultivation from my early teenage years.
I changed my career full time to yoga and Thai massage in 2012. , I’ve worked with college students, athletes, elders, professionals, and people of all ages — guiding and supporting them to listen, breathe, and find space where the body wants to move and awaken to its own intuitive awareness.

Movement is medicine, feeling is healing.

My scientific curiosity keeps me in a learning process to deepen my understanding of biomechanics, the latest fascia research, breath and nervous system physiology.

My intuitive capacity — developed through years of movement practices, nature observation and awareness cultivation — helps me listen and feel what bodies are communicating and needing.

And my spiritual grounding allows me to hold this work with compassion, sensitivity, and sincere  intention to share this wisdom and practices for the benefit of all beings.

I offer a space where you can feel safe to move freely,  develop confidence in your own intuitive sense,  and empower you to take these practices home into your everyday life.

Through my work

I want to provide tools to empower and support you to:

And most of all, I want to help you reconnect with your innate ability to regulate, adapt, and care for yourself.

You don’t need to be flexible, strong, or “spiritual.”
You just need to be willing to pause — and feel.
Everybody holds a story.

My role is to offer a safe space where you can listen, heal … and evolve — at your own pace, in your own way.

What others are saying

“I had been struggling for months with pain down the side of my leg. One session with Tamara — and the self-massage techniques she shared — completely resolved it within days. Her knowledge, presence, and way of teaching changed how I relate to my body.”
